Dish Network Tailgater for RV

I finally broke down and bought the Tailgater for Dish Satellite TV. It cost me $349. for the Tailgater & $99. for the HD dish receiver box. Well worth the money after spending many frustrating nights using the cable TV provided by the various RV parks.

I am a huge sports fan and needed to watch the NHL Stanley cup playoffs. We bought it while staying in San Jose. We went to game 2 then had friends meet us out at our RV Spot to watch games 3 and 4.

Just as advertised. I hooked up the unit, plugged in the power and followed the simple on screen instructions. About 10 minutes of the device locating the proper satellites, and downloading the guide we were watching live HD TV.

Money well spent!

Why we are maintaining a RVers Blog?

The simple and obvious response would go something like this:

We just purchased an RV and want to share our experiences with others. Or maybe when we were researching the purchase of our RV we looked for blogs like this that explained why anyone would want to travel via RV. Why not Fly and stay in hotels. Another reason would be help finding the perfect RV for us. By reading others thoughts on different RV brands, options, prices etc.

Some of the nicest people we have ever met have been thru RVing. We hope this blog can have that same sense of "Community" we find when we stay at the very RV parks we will be reviewing right here.
