We traveled from from Ca to Idaho to see My Father in law in Coeur D Alene. This was a great trip in it self. However, the best was yet to come after leaving Idaho we headed out to West Yellowstone, Montana. Stayed 5 nights at the Grizzly RV Park. Which i would highly recommend. Its 16 miles from the West Gate in to Yellowstone. We did find one campground within the park (Maddison State Park) But if you have a 34' or bigger RV you can only fit in the "A LOOP" and we found very limited space for you bigger rigs.
Grizzly RV park is right in the center of West Yellowstone and is a lot of fun to shop, Eat or have a cup of coffee. Also close to Supermarket, Auto parts and other camping goods. More on the specific campgrounds in a future Blog Post.
This is just a quick overview on our journey from Manteca, CA thru Mount Shasta, Kennwick, Washington, Coeur D Alene, ID, West Yellowstone, Montana, Salt Lake City, UT and finally Winnemucca, NV
